Associated Bag Company is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of its business practices and the products and services that it supplies. We take an active role in promoting environmentally friendly practices internally, as well as with our suppliers and customers. Ensuring a healthy environment needs to be a community effort.

At Associated Bag Company, we have systems in place that address minimizing environmental impact, which include, but are not limited to, high-efficiency lighting, recycling programs, and researching and developing environmentally friendly products.

We ensure the responsible use of energy throughout our business, including conserving energy and improving energy efficiency. We seek to address the impact on natural resources through the adoption of a sustainable procurement policy. Associated Bag Company will conserve resources through efficient use and careful planning.

An active recycling program is in place at all our distribution centers. Where feasible, we look to reduce, reuse, or recycle, and encourage our suppliers and customers to do the same.

Associated Bag Company observes environmental laws and regulations in an effort to prevent and/or reduce pollution. We have a hazardous waste management system in place to minimize waste, and whenever possible, reuse or recycle materials. We look to minimize, substitute, and eliminate the use of hazardous chemicals in processes and operations. We will dispose of all waste through safe and responsible methods.

We are constantly in search of environmentally friendly products. We acknowledge concerns of how packaging materials and shipping supplies may adversely affect the environment and the need to find solutions such as recycled products, biodegradable products, and ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle products. We realize the need to develop products that consider the environmental impact from design through manufacturing to disposal.
